The Procedure of the Dibazin Event
Event Introduction
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Al-Zahra University, Urmia Branch (MENKA), in collaboration with the knowledge-based accelerator ARKAAP, has designed and organized the innovative and technological event Dibazin in the Fall and Winter of 1403 (approx. 2024-2025). This action was taken after assessing existing capacities and potentials, identifying needs related to the field of textiles, fabric, and apparel, and in order to address those needs and achieve the center’s goals. It has been decided that this event will be held annually during this period.
Objectives of the Dibazin Event
- Training specialized and skilled human resources in the field of business and innovation.
- Creating a vast network of skilled and specialized individuals in soft and creative industries.
- Providing a suitable environment for nurturing innovative and creative ideas.
- Forming active work teams in the field of soft and creative industries.
- Increasing the participation of women in innovative and entrepreneurial activities.

Competitive Sections
Project Section:
All designs related to fabric design, apparel, and packaging fall into this section, provided they incorporate the elements of creativity and innovation and align with the event’s main axes.
In this section, designs must be developed based on the “Threads of Imagination” concept, and product types are categorized into four groups: 1. Formal Wear 2. Casual Wear 3. Fabric 4. Packaging.
For the Design/Project Section, submissions must be presented using the specific Dibazin format. You can download the format here.
Idea Section:
Any idea related to process improvement, or the production and design of a new product (good or service) from a business perspective, considering the axes and scope of the Dibazin Event, belongs to this section.
In this section, you must download the idea presentation file from here and submit it to the electronic address of the Dibazin Event.
Evaluation Criteria
Project Section
In this section, criteria such as manufacturability and commercialization potential, creativity and innovation, project identity/profile (specifications), suitability of the design with Iranian-Islamic culture and social norms, the degree to which the concept and chosen theme are conveyed in the design, and other relevant factors will be reviewed and judged.
Idea Section:
In this section, criteria such as market need and size, innovation and creativity, feasibility and scalability, the working team, revenue model, sustainability, and the extent of technology utilization are considered when judging the ideas.

Holding process
- Holding a poster and statue design competition for the Dibazin event
- Unveiling the Dibazin event poster
- Information, advertising and registration

- Initial judging of designs and ideas
- Inviting the winners of the first stage of judging to be prepared to present a design or idea on the day of the event
- Holding the event and announcing the selected designs and ideas

Empowerment
Holding three webinars related to the field and themes of the event, which will be covered by Dibazin media, and all participants will be given a valid academic certificate.

Dibazin Event Awards
The following cash prizes will be awarded to first through third place in each category:
First rank
300 million Rials, event statue and certificate of appreciation
Second rank
S140 million Rials, event statue and certificate of appreciation
Third rank
60 million rials, event statue and certificate of appreciation
Rules
- Participation in this event is open to the public.
- Registration is required to participate in the workshops and competitive sections of the event.
- Registration is not required to attend the demo day and closing ceremony as a visitor.
- Holding and participating in this event is subject to the laws and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
- Participants can participate in both competitive sections of the Dibazin event.
In each section, participants have the opportunity to present one or more designs or ideas. - Individuals can participate in the event individually or as a group (maximum of three people).
If participating in a group, it is necessary to specify the role of each member in the group. - Participants have only until February 19 to send a photo or ID card of the design or file related to their idea to the event secretariat’s email address.
- The intellectual rights of the designs and ideas are reserved for the designer and their owners.
- The organizers have permission to use the received designs and ideas to produce promotional content for the event.
Design section:
- Designs must be in accordance with the laws of the country and the customs and traditions of the Iranian Islamic society.
- Each design must be submitted on a horizontal sheet and in a file with a resolution of 150 to 300 dpi via the Dibazin event website.
- Each design must be in Pdf or Jpg format and in A3 dimensions.
- The designer is required to include his/her handwritten signature in the design.
Idea section:
- The submitted idea must be completely original and not a copy.
- In this section, you need to download the file related to the idea presentation from here and send it to the Dibazin event email address or upload it to the registration section of the Dibazin website.
- Ideas must be submitted in the aforementioned format and in PDF format via the Dibazin website.
